In the Kuban, there is a big scandal - in one gymnasium, cameras were installed in the rooms where children change clothes for physical education. Both boys and girls. It was decided to make video surveillance "to protect against fights, theft and vandalism." Despite the indignation of parents, the local administration of the municipality is in no hurry to dismantle the cameras. They say that the school will soon hold a meeting, at which, probably, surveillance cameras will be written into the charter of the school.

In Novorossiysk, a scandal broke out because of surveillance cameras. They were installed in the locker rooms of the gym of school No. 8. The parents of the schoolchildren found out about this, and a scandal broke out.

"Why do they keep an eye on half-naked children," the parents asked.

In their opinion, it would be advisable to install cameras aimed at the entrance to the locker rooms, but not inside.

The teachers explained that the cameras are needed to prevent violations among students. And the director of the gymnasium assured that the recordings would be available only to the employees of the school private security company - she and the guards would view them.

Apparently, the cells will not be removed from the locker rooms.

After the publicity, some of the cameras were dismantled. But it turned out that in at least one other school in the region, cameras are standing and working, and recording is being conducted. And the parents are quite satisfied. Like, in the past, there was a hell of a lot going on in the toilets, "a normal child can't go in." And now it's quiet and smooth, paper and liquid soap are always available...

Parents overlook the fact that ticking the box or guarding school property should not be above the best interests of the child. And the school cannot violate his rights. "Big Brother is watching you" is not just a quote, but a growing tendency to neglect or even deny the interests of the child's personality for the sake of "higher goals."
