On July 2, 2024, during the solemn presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Stavropol State Medical University (SSMU), an unpleasant incident occurred.
During the broadcast of a video greeting from the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, a pornographic video suddenly appeared on the screen instead of his words. The broadcast was interrupted, and a close-up of sexual content was shown on the screen for a few seconds.
According to eyewitnesses, the video was silent and lasted about 5 seconds. After it, the flag and coat of arms of Russia appeared on the screen. Some of those present managed to film the incident on video. The video quickly spread across social networks, causing a strong reaction from users.
Later, the university administration commented on the situation, stating that there was a hacker attack on the information networks of the drama theater, where the ceremony took place. The university administration also asked graduates not to distribute the video, "in order to avoid compromising the image of the university." This incident caused a wide resonance in society. Many people expressed bewilderment and outrage at what happened.
Investigative actions are underway to identify the persons involved in the hacker attack. It is worth noting that this is not the first time that hackers have attacked broadcasts with the participation of high-ranking officials.
