The budget of the Krasnodar Territory for 2024 is 235.5 billion rubles, which is 12.5% more than in 2023. At the same time, inflation rates in Russia for 2023 amounted to 8.3%, and the consumer basket of a resident of the Krasnodar Territory increased by 9.2%.

Compared to last year, the revenue side of the regional budget increased by 13.2%, and the expenditure - by 11.8%. In the revenue side of the budget, the main revenues are:

  • Personal income taxes - 68.8 billion rubles (29.1% of total income);
  • Property taxes - 39.1 billion rubles (16.5% of total revenues);
  • Corporate income taxes - 38.4 billion rubles (16.3% of total revenues);
  • Deductions from the federal budget - 37.2 billion rubles (16.0% of total revenues).

In the expenditure part of the budget, the main expenditures are:

  • Education - 73.1 billion rubles (31.1% of total spending);
  • Social security - 57.9 billion rubles (24.6% of total spending);
  • health care - 37.6 billion rubles (16.0% of total spending);
  • housing and communal services - 25.8 billion rubles (11.0% of total costs).

Taking into account inflation rates and the consumer's basket of residents, the budget of the Krasnodar Territory for 2024 can be considered insufficient to meet the basic needs of the population and the development of the region. Therefore, it is necessary to take measures to increase the efficiency of the use of budget funds.

This is especially true in the areas of education, social welfare, and health care. It is necessary to review the structure of expenditures in these areas, focusing on the highest priority areas. For example, in the field of education, it is necessary to increase funding for teachers' salaries, as well as to ensure access to quality education for all categories of the population. In the field of social security, it is necessary to increase pensions and social benefits, as well as to ensure access to quality social services. In the field of health care, it is necessary to create appropriate conditions for the provision of medical care, as well as to ensure access to advanced medical technologies.

In addition, it is necessary to take measures to increase the investment attractiveness of the Krasnodar Territory. This will attract additional funds to the region's economy, which will lead to the creation of new jobs and an increase in the standard of living of the population.
