Several full-time students of the Financial University under the Government of Russia were detained in the building of the hostel of the university. From there they were taken to the Savelovsky recruiting office, where they were kept for more than 13 hours without communication and the opportunity to see their relatives. This was announced by the brother of one of the detainees Kirill Yudin.

“My brother Yudin Matvey Sergeevich, a student, was taken away by the military registration and enlistment office together with the police officers from the dormitory of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation at 7 am today. Together with probably six to seven other students, he was taken away and taken to the military commissariat of the Savelovsky district of Moscow. He has been kept there for more than 13 hours,” Yudin said.

According to him, Matvey's uncle Dmitry, who went to the military registration and enlistment office, failed to get inside. "Further than the iron gates, private security does not let in, they say, a secure facility," Dmitry said.

After 13 hours, Matvey Yudin still managed to use his phone and inform his relatives that they continue to be kept in the military registration and enlistment office and during this time they underwent a medical examination. After that, the student stopped communicating. Two more hours later, the duty officer answering calls at the military registration and enlistment office, when asked about the fate of Matvey Yudin, said that they were taken to a collection point on Ugressskaya Street. How many students were in the military registration and enlistment office, he did not specify.

Kirill Yudin claims that his brother was a full-time student and was not registered with the military.

On December 3, the press service of the Financial University confirmed that the five detained students were taken to the military registration and enlistment office of the Savelovsky district of Moscow. The university reported that these students had previously graduated from college and forfeited their entitlement to re-deferment due to their studies. In addition, as reported at the Financial University, they did not register for the military on time.
